About The Farm

Nature’ly Sweet LLC, formally known as SpringLight Maple, was established in 2015 and is a family owned maple syrup producing farm. We make exceptional quality syrup and related products because we enjoy the process as much as the taste.

Every bit of work that goes into producing syrup is rewarding, and special efforts and care are made to preserve the natural qualities and taste of the pure maple syrup.

Originally established in Minnesota, the Nature’ly Sweet family moved to Wisconsin in pursuit of more maple trees.  The farm is currently tapping maple trees on 220 acres located in central Wisconsin.

Why We Do It

Because harvesting from the natural resources that have been entrusted to our care is rewarding, and it makes us happy to be able to provide to you the wonderful gift of maple products that not only taste good, but have many health benefits.  Read our About Maple page to learn more.

The Nature’ly team consists of many folks.  Numerous employees work diligently tending to the forest, the sap collection system, the cooking of the syrup, and the many other items that need to happen to bring exceptional quality maple syrup to your table.

"There's really three things that go into making good maple syrup. Good quality sap, hot fire, and a lot of hard work. The end result is very rewarding." - Owner Christopher Petron

About The Forest

Maple syrup production at the commercial level was first established from the forest in 1953 by the Polak family.  It’s believed that they harvested maple sap from the forest back to their ownership of it in the late 1800’s.

While the timber stand is largely maple trees, we encourage diversity in the forest.  Many other trees can be found throughout including but not limited to Elm, Oak, Birch, Hemlock, Pine, Ash, Basswood and Black Cherry.

The forest is nested within surrounding timer stands and managed for certified Organic production of syrup.
